Matthew Hallett

Matthew started his property career in 1987, working around London and focusing upon Chiswick from 1989, and Central London some five years later.  At the turn of the millennium, Matthew moved out of London to the country, specializing in the country house markets of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

The sale, letting, management and acquisition of properties over the last twenty-three years has included classical country houses, farms, estates, contemporary sustainable architecture, village properties and houses in market towns.

Matthew has developed a reputation for diligence, professionalism and an attention to detail, along with the wealth of experience (and grey hairs) which comes from moving clients for the better part of thirty six years.

When not working, Matthew is an avid foodie and can cook to Chef de cuisine standard.  Other than his family, Matthew’s other loves are his motorcycles, spaniels, and his garden.  Although, having worked with country houses for so long, Matthew always has his fly road, shooting coat and wellington boots in his car, should the opportunity to work the dogs or to fish an evening rise arise.
